Hello! Nice to meet you. My name is Mike. Allow me to explain a little bit about this blog. I wrote the description in third person, which makes it sound VERY OFFICIAL:

Katie & Mike vs. Blandasaurus is a food blog by Katie & Mike: a couple from Long Island, New York. They love exploring. Because of this, they seek out cool places to eat and document it here. They're not foodies, so instead pontificating on how the Duck Confit rested well on their pallets, you may hear something more like "The Mac and Cheese ROCKED!"

Katie & I will write about any interesting places we eat at, and what food we ate there. Why? Well, why not?! Food's tasty, so we'd like to share our love for it with you all.

This May, we're going on a road trip, and we're planning on hitting up some wonderful eateries. This trip is inspired by Guy Fieri, and his great show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. We'll give you our thoughts on what we ordered at some of our favorite restaurants seen on "Triple D"! You can check out the map on the sidebar there. It'll be updated as we add more places on our trip.

Until then, we'll keep you informed with any interesting foods and food places that cross our paths.

Oh, and to answer a potentially popular question: Blandasaurus is the monster of mediocre food. We will attempt to do battle with this beast whenever we can. Consider this our war story.
